RoofOptix ("we") provides demand-intelligence software for contractors. This explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Public records — property, parcel, ownership, permit, and storm data from government and public sources. This is public information, not collected from you.
- Account info — your email, company, trade, and saved ZIP territories.
- Usage — pages viewed and territories previewed, to improve the product and measure interest (we capture intent, not personal identity).
- Payment — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
- Owner contact details — when you use on-demand contact reveal, we look up the property owner's phone and email from third-party public-records and skip-trace providers. This comes from public and licensed data, not from you. These details are for your legitimate business outreach — you're responsible for following Do-Not-Call and consent rules before contacting anyone.
How we use it
- To deliver ranked leads, alerts, and digests you ask for.
- To email you about your territory and service (you can opt out of marketing emails anytime).
- To improve scoring and decide which areas to expand into.
Who we share with
The vendors that run the service — Stripe (billing), SendGrid (email), our hosting/database provider, and the data providers that power the product: BatchData (owner contact lookup), Google and Esri (aerial imagery), and OpenStreetMap (maps) — we send only a property address to return the data you request. Separately, if you connect an integration (JobNimbus or CompanyCam), we send the leads you choose into your own account on that service, at your direction. We do not sell your data. We use Meta/Google advertising pixels only if enabled, to show ads to people who visited us.
Your choices
Manage alert and digest emails in your notification settings, unsubscribe from any email via its link, or email us to access or delete your account data.
